LA&M moved into its current home in 1999, a former synagogue built in the mid-50's. And like most of us in our 70's, it needs a little work!
We are embarking on an exciting project to refresh and revitalize our space to ensure a safe and secure home for our history well into the future. This includes several mission-critical components:
Elevator to ensure that everyone can easily get into the building and move between floors.
Interior spaces to meet ADA codes that help make the building welcoming to all.
Dedicated research space for the library and archives that helps individuals connect with our history.
Flexible event space that allows for compelling in-person and virtual programming.
Exhibition spaces that provide a platform to tell the stories of kink, fetish, BDSM and leather.
Safe and secure storage that keeps our history well preserved for the future
Your support will make this possible! Thank you for making a contribution that will help LA&M stay strong for the next generation or leather!
