Building the Future of LA&M
LA&M moved into its current home in 1999, a former synagogue built in the mid-50's. And like most of us in our 70's, it needs a little work!
We are embarking on an exciting project to refresh and revitalize our space to ensure a safe and secure home for our history well into the future. This includes several mission-critical components:
- Elevator to ensure that everyone can easily get into the building and move between floors.
- Interior spaces to meet ADA codes that help make the building welcoming to all.
- Dedicated research space for the library and archives that helps individuals connect with our history.
- Flexible event space that allows for compelling in-person and virtual programming.
- Exhibition spaces that provide a platform to tell the stories of kink, fetish, BDSM and leather.
- Safe and secure storage that keeps our history well preserved for the future
Your support will make this possible! Thank you for making a contribution that will help LA&M stay strong for the next generation or leather!
